Marcus Cave

Dive Area

Found by an old Instructor, this cave resembling a chimney is difficult find if you have never been there before.

It is situated under a cliff just over 1 km S.E. from Afkule entrance across the bay. Torches are a must. Look out for shrimps as you slowly ascend. It expands wider in a few places to more than the average 2.5 metres.

Descend in front of the cliff, keeping the wall to your right down to 20 metres. Follow the wall around to an area with some small rocks at the base of another wall. Keep going around the large rocks, heading towards the multi coloured cliffs, covered with green algae and purple/pink stone leaf/sea mat, bryozoans and tunicates.
