Minimum age: Some PADI entry-level programs are available from age 10 under PADI standards. In accordance with regulations applied in Türkiye, our minimum participation age is 12. Parental or guardian approval is required for participants under 18.

Which course is right for you?

These programs form the main PADI development pathway. Timings may be adjusted according to participant performance, sea conditions and instructor assessment.

First experience

Discover Scuba Diving

A one-day PADI experience for non-certified participants who want to discover the underwater world safely with an instructor.

  • Basic safety and equipment briefing
  • 1 confined-water skill session
  • 1 open-water dive
Outcome: Your first underwater experience under direct instructor supervision. This is not a diver certification.
Entry level

PADI Scuba Diver

For participants with limited time who want to dive under PADI Professional supervision to a maximum depth of 12 metres.

  • Knowledge Development sections 1–3
  • 1 confined-water training session
  • 2 open-water training dives
Outcome: Certification to dive to 12 metres under the supervision of a PADI Professional.
Core certification

PADI Open Water Diver

The foundational PADI certification for independent diving with a buddy at dive destinations around the world.

Outcome: Independent buddy diving within the limits of your training and experience.
Experience development

PADI Adventure Diver

For Open Water Divers who want to explore three different types of diving and develop new practical skills.

1–2 days3 Adventure DivesOWD prerequisite
  • Three Adventure Dives selected according to interests and conditions
  • Options: Deep, Underwater Navigation, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Night, Boat, Digital Underwater Photography, Fish Identification and Search and Recovery
  • Conditional option: Wreck Adventure Dive, only when a wreck suitable for training standards is available
  • Selections depend on age, certification level, itinerary, sea conditions, equipment and instructor assessment
  • Completed dives may count toward Advanced Open Water Diver
Outcome: PADI Adventure Diver certification after completing three Adventure Dives.
Advanced level

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

Develop your skills through different types of diving and prepare for a wider range of environments and specialty training.

Outcome: Broader experience through five Adventure Dives and a pathway into PADI specialties.
First aid

Emergency First Response

CPR, first aid and emergency-response skills for divers and non-divers.

  • Primary Care and CPR
  • Secondary Care and first aid
  • AED use and practical scenarios
Important: Rescue Diver requires qualifying CPR and first-aid training completed within the previous 24 months.
Rescue

PADI Rescue Diver

Learn to recognize problems before they develop, assist other divers and manage rescue situations effectively.

Prerequisite: Qualifying advanced-level diver training and current CPR/first-aid certification.
Professional level

PADI Divemaster

The first PADI professional level for divers who want to turn their passion into a career and develop leadership, supervision and dive-organization skills.

  • Advanced Open Water Diver and Rescue Diver
  • Current CPR and first-aid training
  • At least 40 logged dives to begin and 60 for certification
  • Knowledge development, water skills, leadership and real-operation practice
Outcome: Supervise diving activities, lead certified divers and continue along the PADI professional pathway.
Training process

How should you prepare?

Confirm your level

We review your experience, current certifications, goals and preferred dates.

2

Complete the theory

Completing eLearning before arrival is recommended, but it may also be continued during the training program.

3

Move into practice

Dives are conducted according to participant comfort, performance, sea conditions and the instructor’s safety assessment.
