Diving On Board for Certified Divers
Seahorse’s weekly Blue Cruise programme plans 16 dives over six diving days: 14 day dives and 2 night dives. Night dives may be conducted for interested guests when the bay conditions and the diver’s certification level, experience and dive profile are suitable. The boat carries two electric Alkin compressors with a capacity of 232 litres per minute, 10, 12 and 15 litre steel cylinders compatible with DIN and INT systems, and a personal equipment crate and seating area for each diver. Two oxygen cylinders and a portable oxygen unit are kept ready for emergencies. Underwater visibility varies with the season and currents, usually reaching 40–45 metres and occasionally ranging between 15–20 metres. Non-diving guests may join a discover dive, while interested participants can take PADI or TSSF/CMAS training programmes during the cruise. All dives are planned according to certification level, experience and current conditions.
