Seahorse Diving Centre, founded by Jane Carr Avcu and Mehmet Avcu in 1997, has been organizing blue cruises with region-specific gulets serving domestic and foreign marine and diving enthusiasts in Fethiye, where the deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea and the Mediterranean meet.

You can see the traces of a magnificent and mysterious history, and enjoy the beauty of nature both under and over the water throughout your journey in the legendary Eastern Mediterranean and South Aegean Sea. This is the only place on Earth where you can drop anchor in the shadow of pine trees and watch the sunset. You will experience the most enjoyable and addictive holiday full of unforgettable memories with diving into the vivid and clear waters of the Mediterranean. If you are curious about the wonderful life and the relaxing beauty under the water but haven't started diving yet, you can participate in diving trainings during the blue cruise and start diving, receive your diver certificate or advanced training.

Our programs start and end at port of Fethiye, following one of the three different routes.

I-  Fethiye – Gocek - Peksimet Island - Nar Island - Asi Bay – Ekincik - Fethiye
II- Fethiye - Gemile Island - Olu Deniz - Butterfly Valley – Gocek – Fethiye
III-Fethiye – Kalkan – Kas - Fethiye *

* There may be problems on this route due to sea conditions and bureaucratic obstacles.

The region has the characteristics of typical Mediterranean climate. Summers are hot and dry (sometimes it doesn't rain for 6 months), winters are warm and rainy. Air temperature is around 30-35 degrees during the summer, and 12-15 degrees in winter. Although the sea water temperature is around 17-18 degrees in winter, it rises to 25-29 degrees during the diving season. You can dive with 5mm diving suits in every season.
